A Luz do Meu Lugar, por Jorge Bacelar

Na exposição A Luz do Meu Lugar, o fotógrafo e veterinário Jorge Bacelar apresenta imagens que transcendem o registo documental e tocam o território da emoção. Com um olhar atento e intimista, Bacelar revela o tempo e o silencio da vida rural, onde homens, mulheres e animais partilham o espaço em harmonia profunda.

As suas fotografias, repletas de jogos de luzes e sombras, mostram rostos que contam histórias, gestos que revelam afetos, e olhares que falam de cumplicidade e respeito. In the exhibition The light of my place, photographer and veterinarian Jorge Bacelar presents images that transcend documentary recording and touch on the realm of emotion. With an attentive and intimate gaze, Bacelar reveals the time and silence of rural life, where men, women, and animals share space in profound harmony.

His photographs, full of interplays of light and shadow, show faces that tell stories, gestures that reveal affection, and glances that speak of complicity and respect. In this exhibition, each portrait is more than an image: it´s a window into the photographer's inner world, where tenderness, dignity and rurality intertwine in a unique visual language. The light of my place is an invitation to see with the heart and recognise the beauty of the indescribable that inhabits life.
